Featured Author Interview: Dale Cramer

Dale Cramer is the author of the bestselling and critically acclaimed novels Paradise Valley and The Captive Heart. 

In his early forties, when Dale left his job in the trades sector to become a stay-at-home dad, he suddenly found himself with time on his hands, so he pursued a lifelong dream and taught himself to write.

Using an online writer’s forum as a training ground, he wrote his first short stories in 1996. As his writing skills improved he turned to novels, publishing his first book, Sutter’s Cross, in 2003.

Featured Author Interview: Laurie Alice Eakes


Laurie Alice Eakes is an award-winning author with more than a dozen books in print or under contract.

Laurie Alice used to lie in bed as a child telling herself stories so she didn't wake anyone else up. Sometimes she shared her stories with others; thus, when she decided to be a writer, she surprised no one.

She also teaches on-line writing courses and enjoys a speaking ministry that has taken her from the Gulf Coast to the East Coast.

Lena Nelson Dooley is an award-winning author with more than 700,000 books in print. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, DFW Ready Writers, and Christian Authors Network. 

Her 2010 release Love Finds You in Golden, New Mexico, won the 2011 Will Rogers Medallion Award for excellence in publishing Western Fiction. Maggie’s Journey appeared on a reviewers Top Ten Books of 2011 list. It also won the 2012 Selah award for Historical Novel. Mary’s Blessingreleased in May 2012 and was included in Book Review Sisters list of top five reads in 2012. Catherine’s Pursuit is releasing in February 2013.

During January 2013, Soul Inspirationz //  The Christian Fiction Site begins a brand new phase. Harking back to the original vision of the site, when it was first called "Ellie's World of Christian Fiction" in 1998, the focus is on authors of Christian fiction and the works that they have had published over the years.

Also showcased are new release titles and other events in Christian fiction, found on the Events Calendar.

Every Christian novelist featured on the site has their own portfolio page, showcasing their various publications. Links for purchase are also included, with Amazon Kindle for titles available in that format, links to the Soul Inspirationz Online Store for NZ buyers (with links to Amazon.com for readers outside NZ), or links to Amazon.com for any titles no longer accessible through the Online Store.

Beginning later in January, every week an author will be showcased as a Featured Author, with an exclusive interview, and focus on their newest publications.
